A healthy, aligned smile is the foundation of long-term self-confidence and oral health. At Alpha Orthodontics, we believe every patient deserves a treatment plan as unique as their smile. Whether you are correcting a bite issue, closing gaps, or straightening overlapping teeth, our experienced board-certified orthodontist provides the guidance and warm support you need to feel comfortable every step of the way.
Types of Braces
We offer a variety of proven orthodontic solutions to ensure your treatment fits your lifestyle and clinical needs. During your free consultation, Dr. Gleich will evaluate your smile and discuss which path will lead to the most predictable, efficient results for you.
Traditional Metal Braces
Metal braces are more streamlined and comfortable than ever before. This reliable system uses stainless steel or titanium brackets and arch wires to apply gentle, constant pressure. These brackets often reduce the need for traditional elastic ties, typically resulting in less discomfort, easier cleaning, and fewer adjustment appointments. For those who want to express their personality, we also provide a wide array of colorful elastics to customize your look.
Ceramic Braces
Ceramic braces provide a balance of proven strength and subtle appearance. These use tooth-colored or clear brackets made from ceramic or porcelain that blend naturally with your teeth. While they function with the same polished proficiency as metal braces, they are much less noticeable. This makes them a popular choice for adults and teens who have cosmetic concerns but require the guidance that fixed braces provide.
What to Expect During the Braces Process
Examination: Your journey will begin with a comprehensive examination and digital scans using the iTero™ scanner as a planning and diagnostic tool to capture your smile and bite.
Placement: We carefully bond brackets to your teeth and connect them with a flexible arch wire. This wire creates the tension needed to inspire your teeth to move.
Adjustments: You will visit us regularly so we can check your progress and fine-tune your treatment. While you may feel mild pressure after an appointment, your mouth adapts quickly. To save you time, you can also use the Smile Doctors Anywhere app to share scans of your progress with your doctor from the comfort of home.

Great staff, very friendly, great communication and appointments are easy to make. Made the process of getting braces easy and smooth.
The staff at Alpha are always caring and kind. They are all very knowledgeable about what they are doing. My daughter recently got her braces off and she loved the fact that they filled the box her retainer came in with treats as a gift for her upon completion.
They made my son feel amazing about his braces. They are really good with kids and explains things in ways that they understand
My daughter had her top braces put on today. Lynda was so friendly and told us the steps she was going to do so we knew what to expect. Very pleasant experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
When should my child first see an orthodontist?
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first evaluation by age 7. At this stage, your board-certified orthodontist can monitor jaw growth and identify potential issues early. Through our Growth Guidance program, we provide that oversight for your child. We will determine if they are ready for treatment now or if we should simply continue to watch their development as they grow.

We believe a beautiful smile should be accessible, so we accept most major insurance plans, and we’ll provide a clear, upfront breakdown of all costs during your initial consultation so you can move forward with peace of mind.
How do I care for my smile after treatment?
Once your teeth reach their ideal position, we will remove your braces and celebrate your new smile. To stabilize your results and protect your investment, the next step will likely be a retainer. Wearing your retainer as directed ensures your smile stays healthy and beautiful for a lifetime.
